Business Connect Business Advisor

Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre provides business advisory, career & educational services to the Southern region of NSW & ACT.

We are looking for an experienced & dedicated full-time Business Advisor to deliver services to the Local Government Areas of Wingecarribee, Kiama & Shoalhaven.

Ideally the applicant would be located within this region and is available to start as soon as possible.

The duties include providing mobile business advice, training & information to businesses across this region.

This opportunity will suit someone who has owned a small business, has formal qualifications in a business-related discipline & has had experience in consulting & advisory services. You will be required to meet accreditation guidelines as defined by the Business Connect program.

You would have current business knowledge & skills, particularly around digital engagement, be well connected throughout the region & can empathise with business operators at all levels.

ASBAS Digital Solutions Business Advisor – Canberra/Queanbeyan

The Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre is a dynamic regionally based not-for-profit business advisory, career & educational organisation that has been established for over 30 years & is expanding quickly. Having recently won the Australian Small Business Advisory Service (ASBAS) tender to deliver digital solutions to businesses in the southern region of NSW, we are seeking a full-time & dedicated Digital Solutions Business Advisor to implement this program.

The Role

The Digital Solutions Business Advisor will be a hands-on role assisting businesses to take advantage of emerging digital technologies to drive sales, marketing, innovation & productivity. You will work with a team of business advisors & educators throughout the region delivering mobile digital business advice, training & information to the regions businesses.

Our new Digital Solutions Business Advisor will;

• Ideally based in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region but travel extensively throughout the south eastern part of NSW.

• Must be self-driven, creative, resourceful & be able to communicate & empathise with business operators at all levels.

• Have a marketing degree or formal qualification in a business-related discipline &/or relevant experience working in the digital consulting or advisory sector.

• Knowledge and experience in website development, social media marketing, software implementation and cyber security.

• Have excellent time management skills & be able to work to targets.
