From Monday 23 March 2020, the CBEC team are delivering advice and support to existing ACT businesses impacted by the recent extreme events in our community, including the January bushfire and health emergencies and the Covid-19 pandemic.
The service supports small businesses to address the impact of these recent events on their business and provides one-on-one business management advice. Business owners can receive up to four hours of fully subsidised, (free) tailored advice and access to business development resources.
Due to the current level of demand on the service initial meetings are kept to no more than 1 hour for each session. Additional on-going advice and support is available through CBEC at a heavily subsidised fee-for-service rate with no time limits.
Clients will also have access to skill development workshops and webinars on topics relevant to the successful management and growth of their businesses, as well as referrals to key support services and organisations.
To access the Canberra Business Advice and Support Service (CBASS), you must have an established business located in the ACT with an existing ABN.
