Get to know: David Jensen

David is a Program Facilitator

Originally a Kiwi, David and his family moved from Auckland to South Australia in 2006. In Auckland David had been a middle school teacher, and by the age of 34 Principal of a small school. David now works two jobs, one for SRBEC as a Links to Learning facilitator, and the other as a flying instructor at Moruya airport. Without a doubt, the South Coast of NSW is David and his wife Nicole’s favourite place to live. Its truly a privilege to live, teach and fly in such a wonderful place.


What technology innovation made the most impact on your life?

The Internet. Up there with the printing press in terms of changing our lives. Still can’t get used to having the knowledge of the world in my pocket.

What is your earliest childhood memory?

Sitting on my plastic ride on tractor.

What is the best advice a parent gave you?

Dad once said, “Son – always expect to give more than you receive.”
