Hugh has been fiddling with computers for about as long as he could walk. Today he is a general purpose geek.

Hugh has a degree in digital media. He has previously worked in product design and customer support for a software start-up specialising in the remote control of lighting, aircon and power management of bank branches around Australia and US. More recently he Hugh as been designed monitoring systems for some of Australia’s biggest rooftop solar system on shopping centres.

Outside of the office Hugh has a passion for cycling and writing about cider, just not at the same time.

How would you spend one million dollars?

Buy a small orchard and cider making equipment and make some champagne style cider.

What is one important skill every person should have?

Ride a bike, less kids are learning to ride. It’s great for sport and fitness and it’s always easy to find a parking place when you ride to the shops

If you had a time machine, what point in the past or future would you visit?

2009, just to tell myself not to sell my $20 worth of bitcoin and just wait for them to go up 100,000 times.
