What is one important skill every person should have?

Emotional Intelligence

What is the best vacation you’ve ever had?

Nine years ago, my partner and I spent 18 months travelling with our then three year old son through South East Asia and Eastern Europe. I’d travelled a fair bit earlier in life as an individual, and it struck me how much more immersive and connective travelling can be with a child. How many more doors were open to us and conversations had, because we had a very obvious common thread that traversed class and culture.

What is a recent book that you have enjoyed? Why?

Buddhism without Beliefs by Stephen Batchelor. I was raised by my dad, a practising Buddhist, and Buddhism always piqued my interest from an ethical perspective (in that I see many of the tenets to be solid guidelines for living in a way that is morally sound) but I struggled with the idea of god/s and rebirth. Buddhism without Beliefs really spoke to me and helped to cement my ideas around having faith without god.
